Heureka smallThe long-term cooperation between Jac Remijnse (Adelheid Showjumpers) and Luc Henry (Stud Hero) resulted in 2010 in a joint breeding programme under the name of Heureka. In international showjumping horse breeding Luc Henry established a name for himself as breeder of the Olympic showjumper Bogeno (ex Queen's Lover Hero, Alvaro de Miranda) and the stallion Querlybet Hero (Philippe Lejeune) and also as the person to discover successful showjumpers such as Uriko (Mario Deslauriers / Ben Maher), Tic-Tac du Seigneur (Leslie Howard), Ayade de Septon (Kevin Staut) and Aganix du Seigneur Z (Jos Lansink).

Heureka is the symbol for a vision of the top sport, being a reference to the similarly named Aachen winner which at Studfarm Zangersheide became grandam of the ‘showjumping horse of the century’ Ratina Z. The Heureka breeding programme consists of, amongst others, two daughters of World Champion Liscalgot (Dermott Lennon), a daughter of the Pan Am Games winner Rotchild (McLain Ward) and a grand-daughter of World Cup finalist Rinnetou Z (Piet Raijmakers).
