Freule is the fifth generation in our Studfarm from this line since our purchase of the mare Ekini in 1966. Freule herself was started in the national showjumping sport by Pieter Kersten. In addition she turned out an exceptionally good broodmare for she is also dam of four international showjumping horses; Lord Adelheid (Ramiro Z) ridden by Bert-Jan van de Pol resp. Peter Geerink, Kyra Adelheid (Aram) ridden by Bart Bles, Quartz Adelheid Z (Quality Touch Z) ridden by Gregory Wathelet resp. Michael Whitaker and Quartz II Adelheid Z (Quality Touch Z) ridden by Mylene Diederichsmeier resp. Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking. The latter two are also licensed for breeding by Studbook Zangersheide. Freule is now enjoying her retirement after her last foal in 2010.
