Grandam Cariga Adelheid Z is bred out of the same dam as Callao (Caretano Z) on which Antonio Maurer won team bronze at the Pan American Games in 2011. Great-grandam Alpha Z has had an enormous influence in European breeding as dam of the successful sports and breeding stallions Robin I Z (Ramiro Z) ridden by Peter Eriksson and Robin II Z (Ramiro Z) ridden by Thomas Velin. Alpha's dam Girl Z jumped at GP level under Bernd Kuwertz. Alpha Z is also the grandam of the international showjumping horses Lancelot Z, Quibus Z, Cracky Z, Obelisk BZ and Carry Z.
