Kyra Adelheid is, like the international show jumping horses Lord Adelheid, Quartz Adelheid Z and Quartz II Adelheid Z, bred out of mare Freule. After Kyra as a 4-yr-old produced a filly by Catango Z, she was sold as a sports horse to John and Lucie Wittebol. Kyra was trained by Freddy Evers, who won, for instance, the Gelders championship ZZ-level show jumping (1.35m) in 2003. In the last four years of her sport career Kyra was ridden by Bart Bles. In July 2006 they won the Grand Prix of Rastede and started, for example, in the Grand Prix in Hengelo and Neeroeteren. Kyra was also successful at the 4* show in Frankfurt where she was placed third and fourth, respectively.
