Sire King Adelheid Z descends from the East German showjumping begetter Kolibri out of a daughter of Rival Z. Dam's sire Chardonnay Z is the son of the mare Rinnetou Z, the successful showjumping horse of Piet Raymakers and the full sister of Rival Z. The stallion Zalza (in the third remove) jumped GP’s under Nick Skelton and is, like Rival Z and Rinnetou Z, bred out of the successful broodmare Wencke Z. With this combination the celebrated Fairness line is trebled in the pedigree of Kronos. In addition, his sire King Adelheid Z and dam Coralle Adelheid Z are both from the Libelle line. King's dam in the third remove Glorita Z (dam of Artos Z) is a full sister of Coralle's dam in the fourth remove Goldine Z (dam of Aerobic Z).
